Quilted Knit Inspiration

Our quilted knit has always been one of our most popular fabrics due to its unique design and high quality. The color selection has always been small, so this year we ordered custom colors! We hope you love them as much as we do, they are the perfect colors as we start transitioning to spring. Tangerine - Kayla

Quinn's favorite color is orange, so when the 'Tangerine' quilted remained unclaimed for sample sewing, it was obvious I would sew something for him! I love the look of those quarter zip pullovers, so I wanted to create something along those lines. Love Notions Navigator Pullover was the perfect starting point. I modified the zipper length and body seam, omitted the pocket, waistband and cuffs. He's quite smitten with his new pullover!

Wild Currant - Sarah

I chose to make the Ellie and Mac Zip It sweater for my son this time. He had been asking for a new hoodie and I wanted to make more than a basic hoodie. He says the best part about the sweater is that it’s a perfect medium weight (and, of course, it has good pockets).

Backwoods - Darcy

I used the olive quilted knit for Hey June’s newest pattern the Sitka. I paired it with the oatmeal French terry. It’s so cozy and definitely made its way into my sweater rotation.

Ocean Blue - Kyema

I made the updated Sinclair Skylar. I've had this pattern for awhile but wasn't inspired to make it until I saw this beautiful quilted knit. I paired it with Cotton Spandex French Terry in charcoal to let the blue pop! It's so warm and comfy I accidentally slept in it all night!

Celosia Yellow - Kamali

This soft and comfortable quilted fabric needed to be a crop Voyage from Eunoia Designs! I was drawn to this color because I knew it would look great on me and it didn’t disappoint! I used mustard CSFT to go with this and I have so many ideas for future makes with this fabric. It feels so good on my skin!

Clematis - Amanda

The texture of this fabric is so fun! I knew I wanted to use it for a hoodie. I chose to make the Sinclair Journey zip up pattern. The quilted knit pairs great with cotton spandex french terry. I enjoy how the texture color blocks with the solid fabric.
