Processing Times
We aim to get your orders to you as quickly as possible. All orders usually ship within 1-2 business days. During high volume sales, processing times may increase.
Shipping Optimization
We understand the desire to get the most out of your shipping costs. That's why we offer weight based shipping through several carriers as well as USPS flat rates. Our rates are carefully calculated based on the weight of each of our products. However, this can occasionally be calculated incorrectly depending on fabric (we refund shipping overages when exceeding $3). A general rule of thumb as follows:
1 yard can ship first class
2-3 sometimes 4 yards ship in a PFRE
4-8 yards in a MFRB
9-16 yards in a LFRB
If you would like us to contact you if there is more room in your flat rate package, please leave a note at checkout. This only pertains to flat rate shipping options. Weight based shipping boxes may have space, but shipping cost will increase with added products.
Return Policy
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns within 14 days of package delivery. We are not able to issue returns or refunds after 14 days of delivery date.
We encourage customers to inspect their package contents upon delivery and to report any flaws prior to washing. Then email contact@surgefabricshop.com as quickly as possible to ensure you are covered within our 14 day claim window.
All items must be returned in the same condition as they were received. Fabrics that are cut, washed or altered in any way that is deemed as an un-sellable condition are not eligible for a return. Examples of un-sellable conditions are: dirty, contaminated with fur/hair, or smells of smoke or other strong odors.
Sale, clearance, remnants, flawed and non-flawed mystery packs and any items ending with ".00", ".25", ".50" or ".75" are not eligible for returns.
If you wish to proceed with a return, you will be responsible for return shipping and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Any return requests must be made within 14 days of package delivery. Please contact us at contact@surgefabricshop.com to arrange a return.
Flawed Fabric Policy
We do our best to thoroughly look over the fabric prior to shipping. On occasion, we may miss a flaw. All flaws must be reported prior to washing and must not be a result of opening a package (ie accidental cutting of the fabric is not considered a flaw). Some flaws are not considered a flaw in the textile industry, such as:
- White or black spots/marks or dye blotches that are smaller than the size of a dime.
- Imperfections (prints marks, smudges, streaks, holes) within 4 inches of the selvedge of the fabric.
Some examples of flaws that would warrant a refund or replacement:
- Holes and/or runs in the fabric
- Printing issues that are larger than the size of a quarter

Lost, Stolen, Damaged Packages
If your package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, you must contact your local post office. Most packages are sent via USPS Priority which is insured, but if you select first class shipping at checkout, there isn’t any protection included. If you wish to upgrade shipping to priority or add additional insurance to your package (you will be invoiced for the cost), please leave a note at checkout and/or email contact@surgefabricshop.com. Please refer to your account and/or emails for tracking information.
