    Copenhagen Melange Twist Jersey Inspiration

We stocked a brand new fabric last night and so today we are bringing you an inspirational blog post full of ideas from our incredible promotional team for the Copenhagen Melange Twist Jersey!

Our Copenhagen Melange Twist Jersey is composed of 50% Poly and 50% Rayon which makes for a soft and lightweight knit. This fabric is constructed with 2 threads creating a melange color. It also is twisted which creates a slub like texture for added interest. At 140gsm, this fabric is the ideal top weight not only for basic t-shirts but for lightweight cardigans as well!

    Abalone - Erin

When I received the Copenhagen fabric I immediately knew I needed to utilize a pattern that would showcase the incredible drape of the fabric. I decided to use the Iris Raglan from Sinclair Patterns and am so happy I did! I have a recent obsession with bishop sleeves and this pattern didn't let me down!

    Mustard Seed - Kamali

I made the Essential Tank from Patterns for Pirates. I wanted something lightweight that showed a little skin during this hot weather. I loved the mustard yellow because it matches so well with my skin. The leftover fabric was used for a headwrap!

    Peach Parfait - Kyema

I chose Pattern Emporium My Embrace Cardigan to highlight the drape of this fabric. It has a lovely slub texture that makes this simple cardi interesting. I love the Peach Parfait colorway to bring a cute pop to my typically gray-scale work wardrobe.

    Tapestry Red - Amanda

This fabric shouted, "gather me!" So I obliged by making a top that had the most gathers I could think of! The pattern I used is the Sinclair Lauren. In some lighting and further away, the Tapestry Red does appear pink. It has a really fun slub look up close - I always enjoy fabric with some texture!

    Reef Green - Sarah

I made the Petra Taylor Tunic from Meyraki Pattern Group. I wanted to sew something that would make a good layering piece without being your “basic long sleeve shirt” and the Petra was perfect for that.

    Pewter - Kayla

With the Pewter color, I made Chuck a Mens Daily Tee. He prefers lighter weight fabrics for his tops, so I knew this was destined to become a favorite of his!

    Commodore Blue - Christina

I made the Patterns For Pirates Pumpkin Spice Dolman. This pattern is a favorite of mine. The weight and drape of the fabric works well for the oversized fit of this pattern. For my son I made the Ellie and Mac Be Rad Hoodie. He loves soft fabrics and hoodies so I knew it would be the perfect combo.

    Iron - Dana

I had the Petite Stitchery’s Romy Twist Tee in mind because I wanted something more than a basic tee shirt. When I received the fabric I knew this pattern would be perfect. It shows off the drape really well and the slight sheen of the fabric gives this top a little extra pizazz. It can be dressed down or paired with heels and dress pants be dressed up. I think this fabric made a really versatile top that is beautiful but still comfy.

    Forestwood - Nichole

I made the Forget-Me-Not Iris Tee for my top. I thought it would be a nice change from a basic tee with the fun sleeve pleat detail. I also made my daughter a Chalk & Notch Mini Waterfall Raglan. The gathered ruffle was perfect in this fabric and it turned out really adorable.

We hope this post has given you lots of ideas for the new Copenhagen Melange Twist Jersey! Let us know what you would make with it!
