As I write this post I am watching the snow coming down outside, hard to believe that spring is right around the corner, but it is! We have a lovely new fabric stocking today, the Amsterdam Jersey. It is a lovely lightweight fabric perfect for all your t-shirt making needs this spring! Check out all our lovely promoters makes below for some inspiration.
Vondelpark - Kamali
I made the George & Ginger’s December Dress in tunic length. This fabric makes it very versatile for tops. This color is GORGEOUS! I can’t wait to get more in all the colors because this may be my new staple in the Spring and Summer.
Cabernet - Kyema
For the wine I made Vanessa Pouzet's Wanted Tee. I've been eyeing this pattern forever and I thought the color perfectly complemented the neckline and shape. I still have some mods to do on my next one, but overall I'm in love with the romantic shape and color of this tee.
Rhododendron - Kyema
For the Lavender, I was inspired by the color to make a shirt for Spring. I made the Ray of Light Tee from Pattern Emporium. The cap sleeves are a perfect fit with this delicate color.
Plum Velvet - Dana
I don’t often make a lot of solid tops so I knew I wanted to make something a little more interesting than a basic tee. I decided to do the m4m Blythe because I thought this fabric had really beautiful drape. I did add a little length to my pieces to ensure it would be long enough since this fabric has 0 vertical stretch. I’m really happy with how it came out and glad I thought of adding the extra length!
Heathered Gray & Heathered Navy - Christina
This fabric is lightweight and perfect for t shirts to wear on warmer days. I also wanted to choose a fun and unique pattern that I could color block with. So, I chose the Game Day Jersey by Love Notions. These colors worked so well together, and the bonus is I get to match my little guy.
Blumine - Amanda
This fabric felt so soft and draped so lovely that I decided to make something I could wear to work! I chose to make the Sinclair Lulu top. It's just so saturated with color!
