KATM's 2025 Advent Calendar is here and ready to bring some joy this holiday season ✨
KATM have designed special labels just for this calendar that are bright, sparkly, cheeky and with a dash of dry wit here and there - all will delight the home sewist and makers alike. There's so many versatile designs, with many varied sizes and label types for any home made pieces.
This year's collaborative artist, Naoshi, was born in Iwate, Japan, and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. She works with the medium of sand art known as Sunae in Japanese. Using brightly colored, shiny grains of sand, she visualizes a fantastical world of her own, imbued with a sense of nostalgia. KATM have worked and collaborated with Naoshi for the 2025 Advent Calendar - her sewing notion characters and her depiction of Kylie's sewing room are truly unique and one of a kind! The packaging cover art was first created digitally and then made as a sand art piece by Naoshi! You can see the sand grains in the artwork - making this project just that extra special.
KATM's 2025 Advent Calendar box and tray have also been made with eco-friendly materials (sugar cane pulp/recyclable paper), making this beautiful box reusable and too gorgeous to throw away.
